LONDON (Reuters) – Over 80 students have thrown caution and their clothes to the wind to set a world record for the number of nudes riding on a rollercoaster.
The naked joy riders spent a hair-raising one minute and fifty seconds swooping around the rails of the gravity defying rollercoaster ride at a theme park south of London.
A spokeswoman at the park said 81 students from 15 universities took part in the record breaking stunt, which had never been attempted before.

Here’s a bizarre twist. Today the battery operated analog kitchen clock began running backwards. There is likely some explanation that will be obvious to an engineer type, but it’s certainly added a sense of puzzlement to our day.

This last weekend we went into Windsor to a Terry Pratchett book signing. As we were waiting in the queue for the signing to begin, a photographer from the local weekly paper asked if we were from Windsor. When we said we were from Datchet, he said that was close enough for his purposes. Would we be willing to have our photo made with Terry Pratchett for a short article in the Windsor Express paper? After we agreed he decided on using Cara, supposedly because she had on a hat, and Terry Pratchett wears a trademark hat all the time. So, while TP was signing her book the photographer took their picture. The photo came out in the paper today.
If you’d like to read the article, click on the picture. It will open a larger photo which will hopefully be readable. To see our photos from the book signing use the “See Our Family Photos” link to the right on this page, and then click on the album that says “Terry Pratchett”.
